Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lockbourne, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 03/03/2025 This contract will construct a flow diversion structure within the plant's Main Drain and an alternative pipe so that Main Drain flows can be redirected to the Raw Sewage Pump Building during large wet weather high flow events. This project will also replace the actuators on the Raw Sewage Pump Building’s influent bar rack gates as a means to better control the plant's influent flows. This Project Has Been Selected for Financial Assistance From the Ohio Epa’s Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (Wpclf) Program. For This Reason Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates And Requirements Will Apply – Please Refer to Section F Miscellaneous Provisions for Details The bid bond amount shall be equal to or exceed ten percent (10%) of this total amount. Note that if the bidder submits a bid bond, the amount of said bond shall be expressed either as a percentage of the total bid or numerically in dollars and cents he Contractor shall use the performance and payment bond form attached as Form C2 in SECTION V – CONTRACT FORMS of this IFB document. If the contract estimated to cost over $100,000.00, the successful bidder will be required to secure a contract performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, including the guarantee period, in accordance with Columbus City Code Chapter 329 and the current edition of the City of Columbus Ohio Construction and Material Specifications (CMS) to ensure the faithful performance of the work. The City reserves the right to reject a bid it deems non-responsive. Factors used to determine responsiveness are included in Columbus City Code Section 329, throughout the IFB, Special Provisions, and in the current edition of the City of Columbus Ohio Construction and Material Specifications cited in this IFB as applicable to this bid, and, if necessary, in its Supplemental Specifications. City of Columbus MBE/WBE Program: This project is subject to the requirements of the City’s MBE/WBE Program. The MBE/WBE goal assigned to this project is 15.0%. OEPA MBE/FBE Goal: 5.4%
