Flower bed, shrub, and tree maintenance shall include monthly visits for inspection and service. This includes cutting back dormant perennials and ornamental grasses, deep edging of all beds and tree rings and removing the edgings from the site, removal of leaves and debris in plant beds, treatment and removal of weeds as to keep weeds to a minimum and not allowing any areas to become overburden with weeds, grounds and bed maintenance of the landscaped areas in front of the main plant entrance and driveway as listed above (A – F). To establish an Indefinite Quantity Agreement to purchase LANDSCAPING SERVICES at the Parsons Avenue Water Plant (PAWP) located at 5600 Parsons Ave., Lockbourne, Ohio 43137 on a monthly basis. The scope of work needed includes flower bed maintenance, tree, shrub care, and a one-time application of mulch. Bidders must have at least five (5) years of commercial landscaping experience and provide documentation of such. All bidders must be registered with and have an active status with the Ohio Secretary of State. The contractor shall be licensed and responsible to use proper insecticide and herbicide where required. The term of this contract shall be from 05/01/2025 through 10/31/2025 and shall be invoiced monthly. There is no lawn mowing required for this contract. All generated waste is to be hauled offsite by the contractor. This includes, but is not limited to, trimmings, clippings, and any other debris from the landscaping work performed. The successful bidder will supply labor and parts. D) Area West of the entrance sidewalk, 90 sq. ft. E) Three (3) foot radius around thirteen (13) trees, 370 sq. ft. F) Concrete planter (annual flowers) by the front gate, 12 sq. ft. (See #5 below for more information) Total approximate square footage: 1,750. Successful bidders, upon notice of award of these services, must provide a copy to the Division of Water designee a current State of Ohio BWC insurance certificate, appropriate contractor licenses, and a copy of the company’s current General Liability Insurance.
