Renovation of a detention facility in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Replacement of existing 4-ply BU & modified bituminous roofing systems with a fully adhered cold applied 2-ply modified bituminous roofing system. The existing roofs are original, over a steel deck and cover approximately 280,000 square feet over numerous roof areas. Includes all associated work including but not limited to replacement of roofing accessories (vent stacks, scuppers, etc.), associated gas lines work, flashings. The roof installer must be a member of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Associations (OIRCA). Contractor is to have a minimum of two crews working simultaneously during the duration of the project. A Performance Bond, in the Form Set Out in the Contract Documents, in an Amount Equal to 50% of the Contract Price, Covering the Performance of the Contract, Including the Contractor's Requirements With Respect to the Correction of Deficiencies and the Fulfillment of All Warranties; and . A Labour and Material Payment Bond, in the Form Set Out in the Contract Documents, in an Amount Equal to 50% of the Contract Price Covering Payment for Labour, Products, or Both.
