Scope of Work Summary The project consists of constructing a 2.1-mile, 10-foot-wide concrete multi-use trail within Wilderness Park, located at 2701 SE Westmoreland Blvd. Scope includes full site preparation, clearing and grubbing, grading, stabilized subgrade, and installation of the concrete trail surface. Additional work includes: o Drainage improvements such as culverts, swales, and riprap. o Utility installation for water and sewer services, including restroom connections. o Construction of a pavilion with restrooms, drinking fountains, grills, and picnic tables. o Installation of park amenities including benches, trash receptacles, kiosks, dog waste stations, wildlife signage, and decorative trail elements like paw prints. o Landscaping with a wide variety of native and ornamental trees, palms, and shrubs, as well as soil prep, mulch, and root barrier installation. o ADA compliance features such as detectable warning mats, signage, striping, and accessible parking. The Grantee SHALL NOT proceed until the Department issues the "Notice to Proceed". The Grantee shall commence Task 2 Performance within ninety (90) days after the "Notice to Proceed" DBE goal of 10.65%
