Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, disposal and supervision necessary to remove two (2) existing oil-fired cast-iron sectional boilers and other central heating plant equipment and replace with natural gas fired boilers including combustion and ventilation air, insulation, supports, piping, pumps, and expansion tank at the MAT (Maintenance Augmentation Team) Building at U.S. Coast Guard, ANT New York, Bayonne, NJ. This requirement also contains an option item to provide temporary heat for three months. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Specifications for PSN 13920142 (164 pages), Drawings P13920142 (20 sheets), and the applicable wage rates incorporated herein. Magnitude of Construction is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Applicable NAICS Code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.0 Million. BIDDER SHALL INCLUDE ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES IN THEIR BID PRICE. A tax-exempt number will not be provided. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 200 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. The Government may exercise the option within 120 days of award. If any option is exercised at award, the performance period will NOT increase.
