The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Kellogg Room at the Multnomah County's Sheriff office located at 234 SW Kendall Court, Troutdale, OR 97060- 2099. The bid opening will be open to the public and can also be viewed live using Zoom Meeting. The work to be done consists of removal of 2115 existing Sensus and Rockwell water meters and replacement with a new Kamstrup Flow IQ Water meter provided by the City of Troutdale. The replacements will include 20453/4" water meters and 70 1" water meters. Data will need to be collected for each water meter replacement and uploaded to the City's GIS. It is expected that about5-10% of the meter boxes will be root bound, and so removal of the roots will be required to replace the meters. All existing water meters removed shall become the property of the contractor and any monies obtained from the recycling or salvaging of the existing water meters shall belong to the contractor. This project has a performance time of 70 calendar days. PREVAILING WAGE: This is a contract for a public work subject to ORS279C.800 to 279C.870. Prequalification is not required for this contract. However,contractors must submit the Contractor Responsibility Inquiry Form with their bid(see Special Provisions 00120.03).
