Site work and paving for a civil project in Delavan, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of the reconstruction of 700 feet of Mound Road west of Hwy. 43, and nearly 3900 feet of pavement restoration on Mound Road east of Hwy. 43 including the following approximate quantities: o 630 lf of 8-inch sanitary sewer o 1550 lf of 12-inch water main o 135 lf of water main in jacked casing pipe o 1200 lf of 12 to 21-inch storm sewer o 1350 lf of curb and gutter o 2600 tons of aggregate base course o 1300 tons of hot mix asphalt o Bioretention basin construction o Other miscellaneous items of work. 3. Information for Bidders. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the City of Delavan for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Rejection of Bids. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
