Renovation of an educational facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work includes (but is not limited to) the following: Demolition of a portion of the existing ceiling system, installation of spray-foam insulation, cold formed framing, sheathing system, joint sealants, weather barrier system, access panels, and exposed fastener MCM panel system. Existing fire suppression system shall be reconfigured to conform to the new ceiling panel system layout. All questions regarding the Bidding Documents shall be submitted via email to both the Purchasing Manager for Harper College, Mrs. Jewell Jackson (purchasing@harpercollege.edu) and the Architect, Scot Parker (sparker@legat.com). Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. Questions received later than Thursday, January 16, 2025, 5:00 P.M. central daylight time may not be answered. Bid security in the form of bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and any and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College.
