To provide technology solutions to help identify trends in road decay and promote effective maintenance strategies to assist in budgeting and prioritizing of re-pavement projects. More specifically, the goal of this project is to locate and quantify the amount, level of severity, and type of pavement distress along the city's road network and to capture street-level data, such as high-resolution street imagery, LiDAR mapping, or laser profilometry to visualize and study pavement conditions and quality of road markings. Importantly, the automated pavement inspection solution should follow the City's existing Pavement Condition Index (PCI) system. The City reserves the right to add, delete or modify information pertaining to this Notice of Contract Opportunity at any time during the period the Contract Opportunity remains open. The City may, but shall not be obligated to, amend the opportunity period based on the nature of the modification made.
