Site work for a water / sewer project in Park Hill, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Site Directions: From Park Hill, OK go north on Indian Road for 6.5 miles to S. Burnt Cabin Rd . then east1.3 miles to S 497 Rd then south on S. 497 Rd. then south 0.8 miles to S. 496 Rd. For the rehabilitation of a 120,000 gallon storage tank. This project consists of furnishing all required materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision to perform all necessary labor for the rehabilitation of the storage tank. This project is eligible for sales tax exemption. The work shall be done in accordance with the specifications on file in the District Office at 174333 W 929 Rd., Parkhill, OK 74451. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside, the name of the bidder, his/her address and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified in the bid form. All blank spaces for bid prices must be completed in ink, or typewritten and in both words and figures. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for receipt of bids, WILL NOT be considered and will be RETURNED UNOPENED. A cashier's check, a certified check or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Each bid submitted is a legal offer and when accepted by the Public Works Authority, constitutes a FIRM AND BINDING CONTRACT. The Owner will retain the deposit, in case the successful bidder fails to enter into said contract and furnish the required bonds provided for in the specifications. Deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon the execution of the Contract. The Authority reserves the right to REJECT ANY or ALL BIDS. The Burnt Cabin Rural Water District reserves the unconditional right to cancel all or any portion of this project within thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of the bids, for any reason and at its sole discretion. Question Deadline 01/16/2025 Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or intent of the specifications or drawings shall be submitted in writing to the Owner through the Engineer The work covered by these specifications and drawings shall consist of all materials, transportation costs, equipment, and tools that are related to, or are to be incorporated in this contract and must be received, unloaded, stored, installed, erected, service connections provided, and coordinated with the construction by the CONTRACTOR under this contract. Installation of equipment and materials shall mean furnishing of all labor and materials as required to place the improvements in successful operation. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all equipment and materials and shall replace at his own expense all such equipment and materials found defective in manufacture or damaged in handling after delivery by the manufacturer. The improvements are as listed: Burnt Cabin Rural Water District Storage Tank Rehabilitation B. This contract shall include minor items not specifically mentioned herein but shown on the accompanying plans or obviously necessary to provide a complete job. C. The following description, while not intended to cover all details, outlines some items of the work to be accomplished under this Contract: 1. Rehabiltate 120,000-gallon storage tank, accessories and appurtenances thereto. 2. Test and disinfect all water storage facilities prior to placing it in service. D. The price named in the Proposal shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, transportation costs, equipment rental, etc., necessary to construct the project as herein specified and as shown on the accompanying plans. E. The CONTRACTOR shall cooperate with the OWNER during construction to place the improvements in operation at minimum inconvenience and without significant disruption to the OWNER. The CONTRACTOR shall minimize his area of operation. Any areas disturbed will be restored to the OWNER'S satisfaction.
