Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Auburn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The work for this project consists of constructing a new 400 gpm water treatment facility located at the property of 9A Pine Valley Dr. adjacent to the Districts existing supply Wells #7 and #8. The treatment building consists of an approximately 5,000 sq. ft. masonry structure housing three ten-ft. diameter Greensand Plus (GSP) media pressure filters and two ten-ft. diameter Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filters along with associated piping and appurtenances, controls, chemical feeds, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. The building will include a concrete basement level backwash residuals storage basin with pumps and force main to the gravity sewer system for GSP and GAC filter backwashing.
