Site work for a golf course in Auburn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course.
The work shall include earthwork, the shaping of greens, tees, bunkers, and grassy hollows, contouring fairways and roughs, and final tying-in operations. All work done under this contract abide by all rules and provisions set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MASSDEP) and the Town of Auburn. The provided bid must include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to perform the following anticipated scope of work, which the Town may adjust as they see fit: All work for this contract must be substantially complete by June 27, 2025 unless otherwise approved in writing by the Town. This project is being solicited and constructed as a "public works" project and subject to the applicable provisions of MBL Ch. 30 Section 39M. Construction associated with this project is governed by the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage law. The successful contractor must furnish a 50 percent payment bond if the value of the work is over $25,000 and/or a 5% payment bond if the work exceeds $50,000. In addition, all employees to be employed at the worksite will have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that is at least ten hours in duration at the time the employee begins work. Any questions in regards to the project and the work to be performed shall be submitted to Greg Roto at groto@town.auburn.ma.us no later than 1 pm on May 2, 2025.
