Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This public improvement consists of work to construct a new park Lodge by the Contractor. This work shall include all necessary work to provide a completed and functional facility suitable for the county's use and include all associated parking, site work and service connections per plans and specifications. Bid Security - Each bid must be accompanied with a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The form of the bid security shall be as prescribe by Chapter 26.8, Code of Iowa. The bid security will be held by the owner until a contract is fully executed and bonds are approved by the owner. Performance Bond - The successful bidder shall be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
