Eng-20-05 Engineering Design Services for Midway Boulevard Notice is Hereby Given That the City of Oak Harbor Has Issued a Request for Qualifications (Rfq) to Solicit Interest From Qualified Engineering Firms to Assist With Preparing a Design for the Midway Boulevard Improvements Project (Eng-20-05). This Project Was Evaluated for an Fsbe Goal Under Their Established Procedures and Criteria. The Results Were That This Project Can Support a Set Aside Amount of Zero Percent (0%) as a Federal Small Business Enterprise (Fsbe) Goal for This Project. The Agreement With the Potential Consultant Will Have a Voluntary Ten Percent (10%) Sbe Goal. The City of Oak Harbor Encourages Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-owned Firms to Respond. Dbe Participation is Encouraged. The City of Oak Harbor is Committed to Providing Equal Opportunities to State of Washington Certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in Contracting Activities. (Section 4 of Chapter 56, Laws of 1975, 1st Ex. Sess., State of Washington). This Federally Funded Project Will Be Held to Federal Eeo Requirements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
