The City of East Providence is seeking qualifications from a Professional Engineering Firm that specializes in sanitary sewer system evaluation. The Firm shall be able to identify and address inflow and infiltration (I/I) issues, evaluate the structural and operational condition of the wastewater collection system, and recommend solutions to improve system performance. The city has a population of nearly 48,000 and approximately 160 miles of roadway. The City's separate sanitary sewer system is comprised of 167 miles of sewer pipe, approximately 4,359 manholes, and 26 pump stations. Pipe sizes range from 8 inches to 27 inches. The City reserves the right to waive any informality to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
