Summary: NRHA is accepting applications under the Project-Based Voucher program from property owners and developers for new construction, rehabilitated housing, adaptive reuse of existing structures, or existing housing for replacement units for the Tidewater Gardens / St. Paul's Area Choice Neighborhood Transformation Project. Under the PBV program, NRHA enters into an assistance contract with an owner of specified rental units, for a maximum of 20 years, subject to funding availability. To fill vacant project-based units, NRHA refers families from its waiting list to the housing unit owner. The NRHA subsidy standards determine the appropriate unit size for the family size and composition. Under this RFP a maximum of 150 Project Based Vouchers, of which 26 are CNI replacement units, will be awarded. This solicitation may result in awards to multiple projects.
