Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. SE 8th Street Force Main, 082022004 :- The improvement includes construction of 48-inch storm sewer force main, Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) storm sewer, trenchless storm sewer, manholes, cast-in-place concrete headwall, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, rip rap, landscaping, erosion control, restoration, and associated work including cleanup and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plans File No. 672-207/267, located on SE 8th Street from Elm Street to the Des Moines River, Des Moines, Iowa This project shall be fully completed not later than September 1, 2026, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $4,500,000.00 The City's Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%,
