ROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project consists of security system upgrades for Tumwater School District Office Building, Tumwater High School, Black Lake Elementary School, Michael T. Simmons Elementary School, Peter G Schmidt Elementary School, Littlerock Elementary School, Bush Middle School and Tumwater Middle School. Project scope includes demolition of existing GE Alliance access control and intrusion system including security panels and provision of new DMP access control and intrusion system including security panels and extension of electrical power circuits as required per drawings and specifications. Project shall also include replacement of existing security keypads, replacement of individual motion sensor locations as noted on drawings and other relevant components and accessories required to provide a complete operating system. Engineer's estimate is $735,000. BID SECURITY: A certified check or bank cashier's check or bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company made payable to Tumwater School District is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. REJECTION OF BIDS: The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and, in particular, to reject a Bid not accompa nied by a ny required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
