Sealed bids will be received by the City of Lancaster, Ohio as provided in this notice for the East Main Street Sewer Separation Project. The project involves separating a combined sewer system via installation of approximately 3,400 linear feet of storm sewer with new structures. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the City of Lancaster, Ohio reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. This is a Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rate project. The Project also includes Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals as set forth in the Contract Documents. The Project is also subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). Recipient shall not entertain the use of businesses that are listed on the Excluded Parties List System at Online in accordance with 2 CFR Part 1532 and Subpart B and C of2 CFR Part 180. This Project will be funded in part by the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) as administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Water Development Authority The Engineer’s Base Bid estimate is as follows: $2,401,050.00. The Engineer’s Alternate Bid #1 estimate is as follows: $220,450.00. The Engineer’s Alternate Bid #2 estimate is as follows: $526,350.00.
