This Project involves pavement planning, asphalt concrete resurfacing, pavement repairs, and other ancillary work on Boving Road from Corp Line to Lincoln Avenue, Hamburg Road from Corp Line to S. Broad Street, and S. Broad Street from Corp Line to Hamburg Road. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of its Work on the Project, as defined in the General Conditions, within a 4 consecutive week time period not to extend past September 30, 2025. Only Bidders pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the Work involved on this project are eligible to bid this Project. This project has a Disadvantaged Business Goal (DBE) goal of 7%. All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the goal. Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as being non-responsive. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the City of Lancaster, Ohio reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. Bidder must comply with the Federal Wage Rates as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Lancaster is the Local Public Agency of record with the City Service Safety Director being the Contracting Officer on this project. The Engineer on this project is the Lancaster City Engineer or his designee. This is a street resurfacing project and curb replacement project, including the planning of the existing asphalt concrete pavement and the subsequent placement of two courses of asphalt concrete. Ancillary work includes the adjustment of utility castings to grade, deep pavement repairs, spot curb repairs, and the placement of traffic paint. The estimated cost of the Work for this Project is $924,843.28.
