The project includes the following work on the 750,000-gallon legged tank constructed by Universal Tank & Iron Works, Inc. in 1976. It was last reconditioned in 2005 by Classic Protective Coatings, when they performed a full interior and exterior coatings replacement. Site Directions: 1700 Austin Road, Owatonna, MN 55060 Coordinates: 44.067441, -93.216711 1. Cleaning, sandblasting, and painting entire interior and exterior area surfaces. Full containment is mandatory. 2. Structure modifications and surface repairs. Tower out-of-service schedule to start on May 1, 2025 and end by July 25, 2025. The approximate dimensions are as follows; tank diameter of 60-feet, high-water level 115-feet, low-water level of 75-feet, and overall height of 125-feet.
