Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of: (a) Pavement Rehabilitation (i) Sargent Avenue - Empress Street to Erin Street The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Planing of existing asphalt; (b) Installation of catch basins/catch pits and connection pipe; (c) Abandonment of existing drainage inlets; (d) Full depth repairs of existing joints and slabs; (e) Removal of existing sidewalk; (f) Construction of monolithic curb and sidewalk with blockouts; (g) Installation of detectable warning tiles; (h) Renewal of existing barrier curb, as required; (i) Construction of modified barrier curb; (j) Renewal/construction of curb ramps; (k) Adjustment of existing catch basins, manholes and appurtenances; (l) Placement of pavement reinforcement fabric; (m) Placement of asphalt overlay (average thickness 90mm); (n) Placement of asphalt for tie ins; (o) Restoration of boulevards and placement of sod. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price. A Performance Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the Amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price. A Labour and Material Payment Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an Amount Equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
