Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rose City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of March 10, 2025, the project was awarded to Apeck Construction, LLC, with an awarded amount of $288,111.07.** Resconstruction of approximately 4,160 square yards of asphalt street including chemical subgrade stabilization, shoulder/ditch grading, and asphalt driveway transitions. Calendar Days: 120 Substantial Completion / 150 Final Completion Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 / calendar day Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Please submit questions for this Project by 5:00 PM, January 21, 2025 through online. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bidders will be allowed to modify or withdraw bids prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. No bid received after the scheduled closing time will be accepted or opened. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 60 calendar days. The successful Bidder, or Bidders, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of the contract written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and satisfactory to the Owner. The award will be made on the basis of the lowest responsible bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any or all bids. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project Contractors who apply or bid for an award of $100,000 or more shall provide the required certification that it will not and has not used Federal appropriated funds to pay any person or organization for influencing or attempting to influence an officer of employee of any agency, a member of Congress, officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a member of Congress in connection with obtaining any Federal contract, grant or any other award covered by 31 USC 1352. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Historically Underutilized Business firms are encouraged to submit bids. Estimate: $350,000 - $375,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
