The City of North Mankato (Owner) will be requesting Statements of Qualifications from Architectural and Engineering (A/E) organizations (Proposers) for the design of the following Project, and for related preconstruction and procurement A/E services: Public Works Facility Owner will receive printed Statements of Qualifications demonstrating the Proposer's qualifications and ability to provide A/E services for the Project at the North Mankato City Hall located at 1001 Belgrade Avenue, North Mankato, MN 56003. See Requests for Qualifications for details on preparing and submitting the Statement of Qualifications. The A/E Contract will include the following services and Work: 1. Management of Engineering Services to develop an Engineering Work Schedule and detailed Work Plans, coordinate internal staff and sub-consultants, and attend meetings with Owner, Owner's Advisor (OA), and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) during all phases of the project, 2. A Study and Report to define and clarify the design objectives and constraints, space, capacity and performance requirements, expandability, and budgetary limitations, 3. Preliminary Design to prepare a Preliminary Design Report to document final design criteria; site topographic surveys; review, identification, and mapping of above ground and underground utilities on the project site; and preliminary drawings and specifications, 4. Final Design in coordination with the Owner, OA, and CMAR of the various Work Packages, 5. Construction Procurement to provide information, responses, technical descriptions, or other assistance to the Owner, Owner's Advisor, and/or CMAR as needed to clarify design intent and evaluate alternate materials, products, or equipment, 6. Construction site visits near the end of construction to identify any apparent defects in the Work, and near the end of the CMAR Contract's correction period to identify any portion of the Work that is subject to correction by the CMAR. Owner anticipates that the A/E's Contract Price will be approximately $750,000 to $1,250,000. The A/E Contract has an expected start date of March 2025, and a duration of approximately 142 weeks.
