Reference Number 0000372993 COSDS Diversion Structure and Sewer Replacement work includes the excavation and construction of a 12 foot by 12 foot by 12 feet 6 in diversion structure along the COSDS interceptor with a 15" pipe connection to a new 5 foot diameter manhole along the Pontiac Sewage Disposal System (POCSDS). Along with the new diversion structure, one 48" by 48" gate and one 15" by 15" gate will be installed.The Sewer Replacement work includes the removal of 402 linear feet of the existing 42" RCP diameter sanitary sewer and 2 existing manholes and the reinstallation of 402 linear feet of the sanitary sewer and 2 manholes with glass fiber reinforced plastic mortar pipe (GFRPMP). This specific section of the project requires all removal and installation of the sanitary sewer to be completed in a 6-hour per day period. For both parts of this project, work includes traffic control and maintenance, various additional site preparation, site restoration, and SESC controls. The party to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the Performance Bond (01 61 13) and Labor and Material Bond (01 61 15) and shall provide proofs of insurance coverage in accordance with the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery date of the Notice of Award to the successful Bidder.
