Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lathrup Village, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Reference Number 0000372860 The work consists primarily of reconstructing city owned alleys with a 3" HMA 3C base course and a 2" HMA 5E1 wearing course over the existing aggregate base, including but not limited to 4,000 syds of HMA surface removal, 18 stations of machine grading, 180 syds of 7" non-reinforced concrete with integral curb, 225 LFT of curb and gutter, sidewalk replacement, landscape restoration, and related work items. Work is scheduled to commence in mid-April and be completed in June of 2025. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 50 % - Surety Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided by the Owner and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Lathrup Village DDA for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid price. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 50% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities, therein when such waiver is in the interest of the City of Lathrup Village DDA, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder.
