Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Bloomingdale Park District (BPD) does hereby invite sealed bids for Indian Lakes Park Renovation. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, concrete walks, HMA trails, and seeding operations. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Bloomingdale Park District. The BPD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the BPD. The BPD encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The contractor(s) selected will also be required to comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
