Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule beginning on page P-6, Part III, Form of Proposal, of this document, for the Tates Creek Entrance Improvements, Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky If the bid is $50,000 or greater, bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid bond shall be executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and countersigned by a licensed Kentucky Resident Agent, representing the Surety Company. Bid Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000. A cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit is an acceptable form of bid security.
