Site work and paving for a civil project in New Waverly, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Avondale has contracted with Olsson, Inc. to design the Old Town Avondale Phase IV and V Roadway and Waterline Improvements. The City has determined that the Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR") alternative delivery method would be the best method in selecting a Construction Manager. The Construction Manager will provide the services for the improvements in a two-phase approach, preconstruction and construction, as listed below. The Construction Manager may prepare more than one Guaranteed Maximum Price ("GMP") proposal for the Improvements to ensure the project is within budget and on schedule. Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: 0.125 MGD wastewater treatment plant, lift station, electrical controls, generator, wood fence and gate, access road, storm sewer and outfall, gravity sewer and manhole, and associated site work.
