Renovation of a mixed-use development in Winthrop, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Selective wood siding repairs, painting of wood siding and miscellaneous related repairs at 31 residential buildings and a maintenance building of family housing, 200-01. Alternates for foundation repairs, new crawl space access doors and louvers, painting of steel bulkhead doors, and replacement of storm doors. The project location is at the Belle Isle section of the 200-1 Family Housing development and does not include the buildings on Sunset Road and Pleasant St. Estimated Cost $684,800. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. base bid: remove existing siding, in amounts indicated, as estimated by architect and replace with matching siding. prime & painting all wood siding. remove & replace alum alternate no.1: repair structually damaged concrete slab-on-grade foundations at 1 story volume of four "cape b" type single family dwelling and apply protective coating to foundation of entire building. provide new crawlspace access doors and ventilation grilles at existing foundations.inum sill cover at 1 window, and provide new pvc trim as indicated. alternate no.2: prime & paint existing basement bulkhead doors at 26 residential buildings. seal all gaps against water-intrusion at exterior wall & foundation. alternate no.3: remove & replace front and rear storm storm doors at all 31 residential buildings.
