Chambers County, Texas plans to apply for the upcoming 2025-2026 Community Development Fund from the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program of the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). These services are being solicited to assist the County in its application and administration of a TxCDBG contract, if awarded , to support eligible infrastructure improvements in the County. Accordingly, the County is seeking to contract with a qualified Professional Administrator or Service Provider (individual/firm) to prepare the application and administer the awarded contract. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by email before 10 AM on January 23, 2025. All RFP's must be marked on the outside of the envelope "RFP-Professional Administrator/Service Provider (TxCDBG)" along with bidder's name and return address. RFP responses received after the deadline will NOT be accepted and must have a notarized non-collusion affidavit or will not be accepted The County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards.
