Chambers County, Texas plans to apply for the upcoming Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) if funded by the Texas Division of Emergency Management ("TDEM"). Accordingly, the County is seeking to contract with a qualified Engineering/Architectural/Surveying Firm/Individual to prepare application(s) for and in the overall implementation of proposed Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) projects. These services are being solicited to assist the County in its application preparation and project implementation of a TDEM's HMGP Program contract, if awarded, to support disaster and mitigation activities for the County. The individual above may be contacted for clarification of the specifications only. No authority is intended or implied that specifications may be amended, or alterations accepted prior to solicitation opening without written approval from Chambers County. All questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted by email before 2 PM on February 27, 2025. All RFQ's must be marked on the outside of the envelope "RFQ- Engineering/Architectural/Surveying Services (TDEM/HMGP)" along with bidder's name and return address. Chambers County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all proposers, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards.
