Site work for a water / sewer project in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project, in general, consists of epoxy coating all inner concrete walls and floor of a circular wastewater treatment plant clarifier 42.5 feet in diameter with a wall height of 17.5 feet. This work will require the treatment plant to be taken offline and the clarifier dewatered. The wastewater will be diverted from the headworks and pumped into contractor provided mobile storage tanks. When required, the wastewater will be transferred from the mobile storage tank to a truck and transported and dumped at Taft Wastewater Treatment Plant. For bidding purposes, assume the wastewater flow to be an average of 6,500 gallons per day for February and March. Surface Preparation for all concrete surfaces to be coated shall be per SSPC SP 13 or ICRI No. 310.2R with a finished surface profile per CSP 3-6. After surface preparation epoxy coating DURA-PLATE 6100 by Sherwin Williams shall be applied at a thickness of 80-100 mils. Follow-up inspection are to be performed by a Senior Certified Coatings Inspector with final inspection reports provided to the Owner. This work needs to be completed by April 18, 2025, as the park will be closed for planned Lightening In a Bottle events. Question Deadline 02/18/2025 at 4:00 PM PT
