Transportation EVSE and PV Phase I Construction This applies to all prime and subcontractors with the following licenses: General Contractors (A and B), Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46). All prime and/or subcontractors must review the RFP specifications to determine whether or not prequalification is required. PLEASE NOTE THAT WHETHER OR NOT PREQUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE PRIME CONTRACTOR (BIDDER) PURSUANT TO PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE SECTION 20111.5 AND/OR 20111.6 ANY LISTED SUBCONTRACTORS WITH LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS C4, C7, C10, C16, C20, C34, C36, C38, C42, C43 AND C46 MUST BE ON THE KERN HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT'S PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTOR LISTING. State law and regulations adopted by the Office of Public School Construction required that State funded programs have participation goals of three (3) percent for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) as defined in Public Contract Code 10115.1. To be considered, a firm or person(s) is required to meet the goal or to make a good faith effort to meet the DVBE participation goals as specified in the regulations. By Richard J. This project is subject to the requirements of Subchapter 4.5 of Chapter 8 of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. Contractor and all subcontractors must furnish certified payroll records to the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Public Works Contractor Registration (PWCR) System. A limited exemption from prevailing wage does not apply. Electronic certified payroll reports must be submitted weekly to and will be monitored by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Owner has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute this contract. These rates are on file at Owner's office, and a copy may be obtained upon request, or at www.dir.ca.gov. and www.sam.gov A copy of these rates shall be posted at the job site. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded (CONTRACTOR), and upon any subcontractor, to pay not less than the specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract. These sections contain specific requirements concerning, for example, determination and payment of prevailing wages, retention, inspection, and auditing payroll records, use of apprentices, payment of overtime compensation, securing workers' compensation insurance, and various criminal penalties or fines which may be imposed for violations of the requirements of the chapter. Submission of a bid constitutes CONTRACTORS' representation that CONTRACTOR has thoroughly reviewed these requirements. In order to perform the work required by this contract, contractor must possess the following type of license/certification issued by the State of California: B, or C-10, and EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) Certification. The Board of Trustees Kern High School District reserves the right to reject all RFP responses and/or waive any irregularities in an RFP response.
