Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Archbold, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A new concrete parking lot with curbs will be constructed on the east side of Ditto Street, south of Ickey's Restaurant (108 Ditto Street), and west of CIG Financial (219 N. Defiance Street). The new concrete parking lot will be similar in layout to the existing asphalt parking lot. It will contain 22 parking spaces including two van accessible ADA spaces. A new concrete walk will be installed on the west side of the parking lot to service one of the van accessible ADA spaces. A new 4" thick concrete strip will be installed between the north edge of the parking lot and the south wall of the Ickey's Restaurant. The old catch basin and storm tile will be removed. A new catch basin and 8" PVC storm outlet will be installed near the center of the parking lot. The Ickey's Restaurant downspouts are planned to be connected to the new 8" PVC storm outlet. The existing bank drive-thru will be removed with this project. Copies of the Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents may be examined at the Archbold Engineering Department, 405 E. Lutz Road, P.O. Box 328, Archbold, Ohio 43502, without charge. One paper copy of the Drawings may be obtained from said office upon registration as a plan holder through online as outlined above. Plan holders will be responsible for shipping charges. Bids must be submitted on the forms within the "BID PACKAGE DOCUMENTS"; must contain the names of every person or company interested therein; and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the maximum bid amount with satisfactory corporate surety, or by a certified check or bank check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the maximum bid amount, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The Village of Archbold reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the Village of Archbold.
