Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Archbold, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project involves the asphalt street resurfacing of North Pointe Drive, Primrose Lane, Quail Run, Pheasant Lane, St. Anne Street from Charles Street to the west, Jackson Street, West Street from West Barre Road to Elm Street, Burke Street from North Buehrer Street to the west, and Schlatter Street from Lindau Street to the west. The streets will be milled one and three-quarter (1-3/4) inches deep to allow for a fiber reinforced bituminous membrane surface treatment (FIBER-SAMI) to be placed below one and a half (1-1/2) inches of asphalt surface course. The FIBER-SAMI is being installed to reduce reflective cracking. This project will also include the resurfacing of East Lugbill Road and Myers Road. The streets will be milled two and a half (2-1/2) inches deep to remove old pavement fabric and allow for the FIBER-SAMI to be placed below one and one-quarter (2-1/4) inches of asphalt surface course. Additionally, this project will also include the resurfacing of two areas at North Defiance Street and Lutz Road, South Defiance Street from the Railroad to East Mechanic Street, the Fire Station parking lot and alley, as well as a couple of small miscellaneous areas due to utility repairs. These areas will not receive the FIBER-SAMI treatment. Any concrete curbs in need of repair will be replaced throughout the project limits. The installation of the FIBER-SAMI will be performed utilizing ODOT's Co-op program and coordinated with Contract 1-25. Bids must be submitted on the forms within the "BID PACKAGE DOCUMENTS"; must contain the names of every person or company interested therein; and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the maximum bid amount with satisfactory corporate surety, or by a certified check or bank check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the maximum bid amount, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. he successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The Village of Archbold reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the Village of Archbold. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
