Site work for a water / sewer project in Archbold, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
A new 12" water main will be installed along State Route 2 from State Route 66 to the Sauder Village Welcome Center. The new water main will replace approximately 2000 feet of failing ductile iron water main previously installed in 1985. At the east end of the project, the new water main will connect into an existing 12" PVC water main installed in 1991. The 12" water main will be directionally drilled, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). HDPE can be thermally fused, eliminating bolts and fittings which have failed in the area due to corrosive soils. New water services will be provided to the houses and commercial properties. Question Deadline 12/01/2025: All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
