PRE-BID SITE VISIT: Contractors are required to survey the existing conditions prior to bidding. BID FORM: Bids shall be submitted in duplicate on forms issued by Architect. BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 10% of the total amount of the base bid and all additive alternate bids. This may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft or bid bond, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that should the bidder be awarded the Work, the bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner and will furnish the proper performance and payment bond within the time limit set by the Owner. PERFORMANCE BOND: A performance and payment bond for the full amount of the Contract will be required of the successful bidder. All costs associated with the bond shall be included in the bid amount.
