The current edition of the Illinois Dept of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction are in effect for all work. This work is to be priced and scheduled as to be completed concurrently with the Base Bid for the City of DeKalb. The procurement method requires that the DeKalb School District 428 affirm in writing a concurrent award with the Contractor winning award for the City of DeKalb Base Bid. A winning Base Bid is required to be eligible for potential concurrence but does not guarantee the School District's award of this particular Alternate section.
