Bids properly received will be publicly opened and read at the City of Battle Ground City Hall. SCOPE OF WORK This contract provides for the removal and replacement of existing mechanical roof top HVAC units, installation of electrical connections and air distribution to offices, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans and these Contract Provisions. The City Council shall proceed to award the contract to the lowest bidder and best bidder but may reject any or all bids if, in its opinion, good cause exists, therefore, to waive informalities in the bidding; and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder. Question Deadline 01/29/2025 All bid proposals, over $100,000, shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City.
