Remove any visible tree roots with a diameter greater than 1/z" within the compacted base fill for the new concrete ramp and curbing. 2.3. Reuse existing compacted fill, add new as needed, and recompact with machine tamping. 2.4. Install new 4" concrete slab and isolate from existing sidewalk with %" bond break.
