Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in South Burlington, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The City of South Burlington is requesting bids for the removal and replacement of 2 natural gas boilers and the associated controls to integrate the new boilers with the system. This proposal involves the replacement of two boilers as shown in Appendix A. A separate contract will be awarded to a controls contractor to integrate the new boilers with the building HVAC system. The proposed equipment should be identified and justified by providing capacity, efficiency, expected life and warranty data as well as the potential for various local, state and federal rebate opportunities. Technical work description and requirements are contained in Appendix A. The boilers are on the second floor in the boiler room. There is a convenient elevator.
