Site work, new construction and renovation of a multi-residential development in Carthage, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Wilna Housing Authority, herein called the Owner, in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-2 of the General Municipal Law, invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved with the Community Room Renovation at West Side Terrace as follows: General Scope of Work: The proposed project involves the partial renovation of an existing office area into a new community room/laundry room. Work includes minimal demolition of existing interior finishes, partitions, and MEP systems. There is no exterior work. New work consists of interior partitions, interior finishes, casework, and minor MEP systems. All electronic bid submissions should be followed up with a phone call to GYMO D.P.C (315.788.3900) to ensure they have been received. Note that electronic submissions over 25mb may not be received due to network restrictions. If your electronic bid submission is over 25mb, please contact the office and a secure link for bid submission can be provided. Bidders will be notified within 10 days after bid opening of selection. Proposals in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond issued by a surety company which shall insure the Owner to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal or a certified check to be used by the Owner to insure the Owner in lieu of a bid bond to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal. Proposals less than $100,000 must be accompanied by a certified or bank check in the amount of 5% of the proposal. A performance and payment bond will not be required from the selected contractor for proposals less than $100,000, However the Owner may require another form of security for faithful performance. Sample forms for bid, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds and construction contract documents are included in this package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the OWNER. The General Municipal Law of the State of New York requires that bidders certify, under penalty of perjury, that bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included within the Bid Form.
