The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit proposals to enter into contract(s) with qualified Vendor(s) to obtain WAN Ethernet Services over Leased Lit fiber, for the University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network (UETN), and its public and higher education and state government constituents, hereafter referred to as the "University." The companies submitting proposals in response to this IFB will hereafter be referred to as "Vendor" or "Service Provider". The University is examining several alternatives of providing WAN Ethernet Services and may decide, after reviewing proposals submitted, not to enter into any agreement. UETN is seeking bids on behalf of our stakeholders for WAN Services. The requested circuits are for the site(s) stated in Attachment A, for installation of new Wide-Area-Network Ethernet service that will terminate at the locations stated in Attachment A (Aggregation Address). Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in the IFB Question and Answer (Q&A) Section, Bid Number # UU196196469 BidNet. All questions must be received by the Questions Due Date (see Section 2.01) Answers to these questions will be posted on the BidNet site and the USAC website (EPC Portal). Any questions received after the IFB Questions Due Date and time will not be addressed. Proposals submitted electronically through BidNet may require uploading of electronic attachments. The BidNet site will accept a wide variety of document types as Word, Excel, and PDF attachments but not all. You MAY NOT submit documents that are embedded (zip files), movies, .wmp and .mp3 files or password protected files, etc. Such actions may cause your proposal(s) to be deemed as "Non-responsive". All cost documents must be attached as separate files. When submitting an offer electronically through BidNet, please allow sufficient time to complete the online forms and upload documents. The solicitation will end at the closing time listed in the offer. If you are in the middle of uploading your documents at the closing time, the system will stop the process and your offer will not be received by the system. It is recommended that the submission process be completed the day prior to the due date, with the knowledge that any changes/updates will be accepted through the due date and time. The University, on behalf of UETN, is seeking end-to-end WAN Ethernet Services over Leased Lit fiber for the site(s) listed in Attachment A. Customer Premise Equipment. Include pricing for a termination device in Attachment A under 'Equipment': Cisco Catalyst 9300-24T or functionally equivalent device.
