The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS), Omaha VA Medical Center intends to issue Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Part 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO23) intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for completion of construction Project: Repairs to MV LOOP #1 , at the VA Medical Center -Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. An RFP is planned to be issued on or about January 29, 2025, with an award date within approximately 30 calendar days after the price proposal due date. Further details of all dates, events, and locations, including site visit and price proposal due date, will be available in the solicitation. The Contractor for this project shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to Repairs to MV LOOP #1. The Contractor shall provide an immediate response to assist the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center (SFVAMC) with a medium voltage sectionalizing cabinet failure. Contractor will provide replacement 15kV wires, load break elbows, installation labor, and testing necessary to validate that wires installed are safe and not damaged. . All work will be completed in accordance with the specifications and Scope of Work. The period of performance for this work is three (3) calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
