Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Auburn, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.

The major items of work include expanding the existing Auburn maintenance and operations main building by adding a new six-bay vehicle shop. This addition includes two restrooms, office space, and a uniform storage closet. A new fire sprinkler system will be integrated with the existing system, along with new plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, including a new electrical service specifically for the addition. Site modifications will entail reconfiguring existing parking spaces and removing a nearby planter, grading the site with additional excavation and structural fill beneath the addition, and adjusting the site's utilities, such as stormwater, water, and sewer systems, to fit the new layout. The proposed bid range for the project is from $2,000,000 to $2,500,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 260 working days. This project will be funded with City monies. No DBE Goals are required for this project. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. City staff will be onsite at the main entrance to escort potential bidders through the site and to answer questions. The site is in a secured area, and this will be the only opportunity to inspect the site during bidding.
