The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant, to develop, calibrate, and implement a hydraulic model for the City's wastewater transmission system, and use the model to assess and optimize system capacity, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. The City has identified the need to develop a Wastewater Transmission System Hydraulic Model that will provide a tool that will allow the City to most effectively fulfill its responsibilities, provide a high level of service to its residents and customers, accommodate growth and economic development, and protect public health, safety, and the environment, The scope of work outlined in this RFQ is presented to develop and calibrate a hydraulic model of the City's wastewater transmission system, which shall include main gravity mains (gravity mains connecting lift stations and mains larger than 24 inches in diameter), force mains, and lift stations to provide a complete sewer system model. The model should be developed using InfoWorks ICM. The model shall then be applied to identify system deficiencies under current and future scenarios. This contract shall be for an initial one (1) year period with no renewal terms. This project will not have a pre-bid meeting. Estimated Project Cost: $750,000 A Proposal Security shall not be required for this project. Payment and Performance Bonds shall not be required for this project. The CITY reserves the right to require any other additional types of insurance coverage and/or higher limits of liability it deems necessary based on the nature of work being performed under this Agreement.
