The Project includes the following Work: The work under this Contract includes construction of a back-up power system and controls at the Village of Cambridge Wellhouse # 2, 400 W. Madison Street, Cambridge, Wisconsin 53523. A. Provide wellhouse back-up power system, including a new minimum 100-kW, natural gas engine generator, automatic transfer switch, power distribution junction box, and natural gas supply line plumbing, regulators, valves, exhaust piping, monitoring control panel, and related equipment. B. Provide concrete pad for mounting generator. C. Provide lighting panel to house circuits for generator appurtenances. Work including conduits, wire, and related equipment. D. Provide programming to integrate utility power signals into City SCADA System and screens. E. Demolition of existing stand-by natural gas engine, drive shaft, circuits, natural gas piping, concrete equipment base, exhaust piping, floor repair, and exterior wall penetration infilling. F. Provide all work, equipment, and materials to provide complete and operable project. The anticipated substantial completion date is May 29, 2026 and final completion date is July 31, 2026. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
