The work involves roadway improvements connecting Vineyard Drive to STH 134, realigning Lagoon Road with Vineyard Drive, and removing the existing connection of Lagoon Road to STH 134. The intersection of STH 134 and Lagoon Road will be realigned to the north to intersect Vineyard Drive. A section of STH 134 will be regraded to match WisDOT sight line restrictions, and a new asphalt access drive to the water tower will connect with Vineyard Drive. The scope includes storm sewer installation, concrete curb and gutter, signing and pavement marking, topsoil stripping, clearing and grubbing, asphalt pavement removal, roadway base construction, installation of concrete sidewalk, asphalt pavement, adjustment of existing water valves, and coordination for the relocation of existing utilities. As a bid alternative, the regrading of existing gravel as base, a 3-inch thick asphalt pavement overlay, and necessary shoulder work for roughly 1500 feet of Lagoon Road east of Whiskey Way to the Lions Club dock and parking area is included. No proposal will be accepted without a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
