The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space (District) is pleased to announce the opportunity to bid on the Bathtub Loop Drainage Upgrade Project. The project consists of reshaping and improving the drainage features of approximately 1.2 miles of existing ranch road that will later service pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians. The road is in poor condition due to deficient or non-existent drainage features in tandem with moderate vehicle and grazing usage. The scope of work shall include road shaping/grading for drainage elements and erosion control, subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of Class II aggregate base, installation of stabilization fabric, and installation of new ditch relief culverts. The project site is accessible off Highway 84/La Honda Road via a private road adjacent to the Red Barn site at La Honda Creek Preserve.
